Online bookings
How to add splose online bookings to your clinic website
In splose, open Settings, Online bookings, choose your booking page, then use the Share tab to copy either the embed code (paste it into your site) or the hosted link. splose has no built in NDIS field, but you can add an NDIS number or plan manager question as a custom field so it is captured at booking.

- Method
- Embed code (iframe) pasted into any website builder, or a shareable link to splose's own hosted booking page
- On mobile
- splose's booking flow is a single page app rather than a series of separate URLs, so on a phone it behaves more like an in page form than a series of link taps. Give the embed block full width with minimal side padding, and check that the location, service and practitioner steps are each fully visible without horizontal scrolling on a small screen.
- Can you track bookings?
- Partly. You can count completed splose bookings: paste your Google Tag Manager ID into Settings, Workspace, Details, and it is applied to every booking page, both the embedded version and the hosted link. What splose's own documentation does not cover is whether the original ad, search or social source survives the trip into an embedded iframe, and website builders can block the scripts GTM needs to fire at all. For the tested verdict and the fallback, see the dedicated splose tracking guide.
Add splose bookings to your website
- In splose, go to Settings, Online bookings, and set up the services, locations and practitioners you want clients to book online, then open the specific booking page you want to publish.
- On that booking page, open the Share tab. You get two options: a plain link to splose's hosted booking page, and an embed code for placing the booking flow inside your own site.
- If you use the embed code, paste it into your website builder's HTML or embed block and publish. splose notes that its own branding is not shown when the flow is embedded, so it should already look like part of your site without extra styling work.
- If a clinic sees NDIS funded clients, add a custom field under Settings, Custom fields, for example NDIS number or plan manager, and include it on the online booking form so that detail arrives with the booking instead of being collected later by reception.
- Set a confirmation message under the booking page's settings. This is the text shown after a successful booking. splose does not use a separate thank you page, the flow is a single page app, so this message is the only on page confirmation a client sees.
- Point every Book now link on your site at this one page, so there is a single booking path to measure and support.
Track the bookings
- Create a GTM container for your GA4 property if you do not already have one, and paste the GTM ID into splose under Settings, Workspace, Details.
- In GTM, use the Element Visibility trigger on the bookingConfirmed element if you are sending clients to splose's hosted link, or the custom event splose_booking_confirmed if you have embedded the booking flow on your own page.
- Publish the GTM container, then make a real test booking and confirm the event appears in GA4 DebugView before relying on it.
Embed code or hosted link
splose gives you the same two choices most practice software does. The embed code puts the booking flow inside an iframe on your own page, using the Share tab on the booking page you have set up. The hosted link sends the client to splose's own booking address instead.
splose's own guide notes that when the flow is embedded, your clinic's own site branding carries through and splose's logo is not shown, which is the main reason clinics choose the embed over the plain link. The trade off, as with most booking widgets, is that a hosted link is easier to measure reliably, because the client's browser genuinely leaves your site rather than loading someone else's page inside yours.
Either way, changes you make inside splose (new practitioners, new services, changed availability) appear on your website automatically once the code or link is in place. You do not need to touch the website again for day to day scheduling changes.
Capturing NDIS details at the time of booking
splose's standard online booking form collects the fields most clinics expect: name, date of birth, email and phone. It does not have a purpose built NDIS field out of the box.
Where this matters is for practices that take NDIS funded clients directly through online booking rather than only through referrals. splose's custom fields, set up under Settings, Custom fields, can be added to the same intake form used for online bookings, so a clinic can ask for an NDIS number or the client's plan manager at the point of booking rather than chasing it up afterwards by phone or email.
This is a general purpose field, not an NDIS specific integration, so it is on you to decide what to ask for and how to word it. Keep it to what your admin team actually needs to open a service agreement or start invoicing, rather than every field NDIS paperwork could theoretically ask for.
What to expect once it is live
Because splose's booking pages are a single page app, the browser's address bar does not change from step to step and there is no separate thank you page to point analytics at. The confirmation message you set inside splose is the only on screen sign off a client gets, so make it specific: what happens next, whether they will get a text or email reminder, and who to call if they need to change the time.
Test the whole flow yourself on a phone before it goes live, and again after any theme or plugin update on your site, since an embedded flow depends on your site's own code running cleanly around it.
