AroFlo vs Ascora for a service and maintenance business

AroFlo publishes a price: $80 a user a month, minimum 3 users, so $240 for a 3 person crew. Ascora publishes no pricing anywhere on its site, only a 14 day trial with no card, so its cost cannot be quoted here. Both target multi-crew service and maintenance work; CRM and lead capture tools differ. Checked against each vendor's site, 25 September 2026.

AroFlo

Pick AroFlo if you want a published per-user starting price and a plan that already includes compliance forms, asset tracking and accounting sync without upgrading tiers.

Ascora

Pick Ascora if its lead capture and quote win-rate tools genuinely fit how you sell work, and you are comfortable running a trial and a sales conversation before you know the monthly cost.

What it costs

AroFlo's pricing page does not state a currency or GST treatment; figures are shown as published. Ascora publishes no pricing at all on its own site, so no figure can be shown for it without contacting Ascora directly.. Prices captured 25 Sep 2026 from AroFlo and Ascora.

Declared bias: FFP builds on ServiceM8, not AroFlo or Ascora

FFP Digital is a ServiceM8 developer with no commercial relationship with AroFlo or Ascora. Ascora is a smaller, newer name that often comes up alongside AroFlo in searches for Australian job management software built for recurring service and maintenance work, so this page compares what each vendor actually publishes about itself.

One vendor prices itself in public; the other does not

AroFlo's pricing page states a single plan at $80 per user a month, with a minimum of 3 users and a sliding scale that lowers the per-user rate at higher headcounts, though the discounted rates themselves are not published. Ascora's website has no pricing page, no plan names, no per-user figure and no "contact us for a quote" line either: the only call to action is a 14 day free trial with no credit card required. If a genuine cost comparison is what you are after, AroFlo is the only one of the two that gives you a number to start from; Ascora requires a sales conversation before you know what you would pay.

Lead capture and CRM depth vs compliance and asset breadth

Ascora positions itself as built "for tradies who've outgrown basic tools", with multi-stage quoting and win-rate tracking, CRM and lead capture from calls, web forms or Facebook, drag-and-drop scheduling, GPS timesheets synced to payroll, digital SWMS, JSA and inspection forms, and equipment maintenance with asset tracking and service scheduling, integrating with Xero, MYOB, QuickBooks, EzzyBills, Stripe and Eway.

AroFlo's single plan covers a similar spread (quoting, scheduling, compliance forms, inventory, a trade CRM, Xero, MYOB, QuickBooks and Reckon) plus AI tools branded Cooper, JustAsk, FieldReady, JobReady, JobScribe and JobBrief, none of which Ascora's own site mentions having an equivalent to. Where Ascora's own marketing leans harder is lead capture, quote win-rate tracking and multi-crew job complexity; a business choosing primarily on recurring maintenance scheduling and asset compliance, with a known monthly cost, has more to go on with AroFlo, while a business chasing better lead tracking and is comfortable requesting a quote has reason to look at Ascora properly before ruling it out.

Common complaints and catches

AroFlo

  • Onboarding and initial setup described as clunky by some reviewers
  • Global calendar seen as short on multi location scheduling functionality
  • Interface inconsistencies reported as confusing for less experienced users
  • Support engagement described as variable by a minority of reviewers

Ascora

  • Usability and interface described as not user friendly enough by some reviewers
  • Payroll and time tracking integration issues reported, affecting payroll accuracy and job costing
  • API rated poorly by reviewers, suggesting limits on third party integration beyond the named accounting links
  • Value and feature depth rated highly despite the usability complaints

Switching between them

Both integrate with Xero and MYOB, so customer and invoice history generally has a path across. Neither vendor's public pages describe a bulk job history or forms export in detail, so confirm the export format with either vendor's sales team before committing, especially since Ascora will not even confirm a price without that conversation first.

FFP Digital is a ServiceM8 developer and builds for Cliniko clinics. We have tried to be fair; prices are the vendors' own published figures on the date shown.
