| Plan | 1 user | 3 users | 8 users | How we worked it out | |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Tradify | Lite | $52.80 | $158.40 | $422.40 | Lite lists at $48 a month per user before GST. Adding 10 per cent GST makes one person $52.80, three people $158.40, eight people $422.40. Lite leaves out recurring jobs, job photos and safety forms. |
| Tradify | Pro | $57.20 | $171.60 | $457.60 | Pro lists at $52 a month per user before GST, so one user pays $57.20 with GST, three pay $171.60, eight pay $457.60. Pro is the plan most crews compare against ServiceM8, since Lite is missing features they expect. |
| Tradify | Plus | $68.20 | $204.60 | $545.60 | Plus lists at $62 a month per user before GST: $68.20 with GST for one user, $204.60 for three, $545.60 for eight. Plus is the only tier with purchase orders and full reporting. |

Declared bias: we build on ServiceM8
FFP Digital builds add-ons, forms and reports for ServiceM8, a tool Tradify competes with directly. That gives us a reason to prefer ServiceM8, so read this page knowing where we stand. We have taken Tradify's numbers straight from its own Australian pricing page and have not softened or inflated anything to make the comparison look better for either tool.
We earn nothing from Tradify for this page, and nothing from ServiceM8 for writing it either.
How Tradify's three plans are priced
Tradify charges per user, per month, in AUD, and its published price excludes GST. There is no free tier: every plan needs a paid seat for each person who logs in, whether they are in the office or on the tools. Billing is month to month with no lock-in contract, and Tradify offers a 14 day free trial before you need to pay.
The sticker prices are $48 for Lite, $52 for Pro and $62 for Plus. Because those figures are ex GST, what actually lands on your card is 10 per cent higher: $52.80, $57.20 and $68.20 respectively for a single user. Multiply by your headcount and the gap between plans widens quickly, since every extra person pays the full per user rate again.
What separates Lite, Pro and Plus
Lite covers the basics: quotes, jobs, scheduling and invoicing. It leaves out recurring jobs, job photos, timesheets and safety paperwork, which is why most crews weighing Tradify against a tool like ServiceM8 end up pricing Pro instead, not Lite.
Pro adds recurring jobs, job photos, timesheets, and health and safety forms with compliance certificates. Plus goes further again, adding service reminders, job tasks, purchase orders and reporting. If your crew raises purchase orders or needs proper job costing reports, Plus is the plan to price, not Pro.
Where the price surprises people
Tradify's own help centre states plainly that both the web console and the mobile app need a live internet connection. If your crew works somewhere with patchy coverage, plan for that before you commit to a per user price, because the app will not fall back to offline job data.
On public review sites, a recurring theme is more than one price rise landing within a short span of each other, which some reviewers say caught them off guard between renewals. Slow performance and notification handling that reviewers describe as unresolved for a long period also come up repeatedly. None of that shows on the pricing page itself, so it is worth checking review platforms before you commit a whole crew to one plan.
Common complaints and catches
Tradify
- More than one price rise reported across review periods, which some reviewers say landed close together
- Slow performance reported by some Australian users
- Notification handling described in reviews as unresolved for a long period
- Occasional crashes reported during sign up
- Time rounding errors reported on timesheets
Switching to or from it
Moving into or out of Tradify usually goes by CSV for customers, contacts and price list items in either direction. Job history, photos and completed forms carry more risk and often need exporting and re-attaching by hand, and custom checklists have to be rebuilt in the new system's own form tools. Run the old and new systems side by side for one full billing cycle so no open invoice goes missing between Tradify and Xero or MYOB.
