What does Jobber actually cost an Australian business?
Jobber's pricing page states: 'All prices in USD', with no AUD price, no GST mention and no reference to Australia. Core is $49 USD a month for 1 user, plus $29 USD per extra user. At the mid-market rate on 24 September 2026 (1 USD near 1.43 AUD), that is roughly $70 AUD, before card FX fees and GST.

Jobber
Jobber can suit a sole trader happy to be billed in USD and to sort out GST with their own accountant; it is a harder fit once a card issuer's conversion fee and the currency swings are added to a monthly subscription.
What it costs

Declared bias: FFP builds on ServiceM8, not Jobber
FFP Digital is a ServiceM8 developer with no commercial relationship with Jobber. Jobber is a real option for Australian sole traders, so this page prices it fairly from its own page, in the currency Jobber actually charges, rather than pretending it is quoted in AUD when it is not.
Every price on the page is US dollars
Jobber's pricing page states: "All prices in USD. Subscription plan prices exclude sales tax where applicable." There is no Australian dollar figure anywhere on the page, no mention of GST, and no Australia specific plan. Four plans are listed: Core from $49 a month for 1 user (or $21 a month for the first 12 months if you prepay annually, rising to $29), Connect from $139 a month, Grow from $199 a month and Plus from $499 a month, each of the last three also sold in 5, 10 or 15 user bundles. Extra users on Core cost $29 USD each. Two-way SMS and some payment processing are, in Jobber's own words, "Available in the US, Canada & UK", not Australia.
Because nothing on the page is priced in AUD, an Australian sole trader has to do two conversions Jobber does not do for them: the currency conversion itself, and working out whether GST applies to the purchase at all. Neither is stated by Jobber, so this page shows the arithmetic rather than a single confident dollar figure.
What Core actually costs in AUD, worked through
Using the XE.com mid-market rate captured on 24 September 2026 (1 USD equals 1.42581 AUD, a snapshot rate with no card margin added), Jobber's Core plan comes to roughly $69.86 AUD a month for 1 user, $152.56 AUD for 3 users (1 plus 2 extra users at $29 USD each, $107 USD total) and $359.30 AUD for 8 users (1 plus 7 extra users, $252 USD total). Those figures are FFP's own estimate from a public exchange rate, not a price Jobber publishes or guarantees, and they exclude two things a real Australian card statement usually adds: a foreign currency conversion fee from your card issuer, which Jobber's page does not cover, and GST, which Jobber's page does not mention either way. If your business is GST registered, check with your accountant whether GST applies to an overseas digital subscription like this one; Jobber's own page gives no answer.

Switching to or from it
Jobber's client, job and invoice data is US-hosted software built for US, Canadian and UK billing norms; before switching to or from it, check with your accountant how GST should be recorded against a USD-billed subscription in your own books, since Jobber's page does not answer that for you.
